Contact us before performing or authorizing any services that may be covered under warranty. If you are within 50 miles of a Grove Street Auto Group location and experience a warranty issue, you must return to one of our locations for warranty repair for the costs to be covered. You may bring your vehicle to any Grove Street Auto Group location for repairs.
TROUBLE OUT OF TOWN?
The Grove Street Auto Group has a nationwide network of shops to help us take care of you no matter where you are. In the unlikely circumstance that you have a problem far from us, repairs must be performed by a facility approved by The Grove Street Auto Group management to be covered. If a problem occurs more than 50 miles from a Grove Street Auto Group location, call the location which originally performed your service. We will identify the nearest shop we trust to handle your needs and help manage the repair process for you.
OTHER WARRANTIES OR COVERAGES
Any aftermarket, extended, or factory warranty that covers a needed component holds primary position and takes priority over any Grove Street Auto Group warranty. Any part with its own manufacturer warranty (Tire mileage warranties and battery life warranties, for example) will be covered to the extent of that specific warranty – not the Grove Street Auto Group warranty.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
- 4-year/48,000-Mile limited parts and labor warranty applies to private passenger vehicles. Heavy-duty and commercial vehicle repairs and services are covered by a 2-year/24,000-mile limited parts and labor warranty.
- Exclusions and limitations include but are not limited to certain wear items such as windshield wipers, filters, certain light bulbs.
- Vehicles that are modified from factory original condition (lifted/lowered, tuned, emissions-deleted, etc) are not covered under this warranty. Modifications made after repairs or service will void any remaining warranty.
- The warranty will not be valid if the vehicle has been abused, misused, or if subsequent repair, service, or alteration has affected the covered items.
- The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the service and/or repairs, and only to the actual work performed and the parts installed on the visit in question.
- Our warranty does not include coverage for car rental expenses, towing, lost wages, or any other related expenses.
- The maximum warranty coverage is equal to the total parts and labor cost of the original repair.
- The Grove Street Auto Group reserves the right to refund the full purchase price of goods and services purchased in relation to any warrantable failure in lieu of any warranty claim.
- While mechanical brake parts enjoy our 4-year/48,000-mile warranty, brake friction part replacements are covered by a 2-year/24,000-mile limited parts and labor warranty.
- We will not pay for warranty work performed by any other facility or issue refunds for work performed by other individuals/facilities unless the service was approved in advance by The Grove Street Auto Group management. We will not issue refunds in place of paying for unauthorized repairs that may have been covered by your warranty.
In all cases, the warranty expires when either limit is met, time or mileage.
